How to watch The Traitors US in the UK
The BBC has acquired the rights to The Traitors US.
It's a good day to be a fan of The Traitors.
We're currently in the thick of the action with season 2 of The Traitors UK, but as you might have heard, there's more whispers, side glances, and backstabbing happening across the pond...
For US audiences, the first three episodes of The Traitors US season 2 dropped simultaneously on Peacock on January 12, while the remaining episodes will drop on the platform every Thursday.
This means that, as with The Traitors US season 1, UK viewers can expect to watch The Traitors US season 2 in full once it's been released as a boxset on iPlayer. This is because the BBC acquired The Traitors US from Peacock in the UK.
So, UK viewers will still get to watch more Faithfuls and Traitors trying to win a huge prize jackpot of $250,000 (£206,000). It might just take a little bit longer.
While the premise of the US version's season 2 remains the same, with three Traitors having to murder Faithful contestants in a bid to claim the prize money for themselves, we got an all-star cast this time round instead of an assortment of celebrities and civilians.
Still, there will continue to be roundtables where contestants will get a chance to vote to eliminate one another.
And as before, if the Faithfuls are able to successfully banish all the Traitors from the show during the roundtables, they will share the prize fund – but if there's at least one Traitor left in the final round, they'll go home with the entire prize pot.
If like us, you couldn't get enough of the series and want more, read on for a guide to how to watch The Traitors US in the UK.
Can you watch The Traitors US in the UK?
Season 1 of The Traitors US was released on Thursday 12th January on Peacock, NBCUniversal’s streaming service.
This was followed by the full boxset becoming available for UK viewers on Friday 13th January via BBC iPlayer.
Episodes are also expected to air on BBC Three and BBC One.
Dan McGolpin, Director, iPlayer and Channels, said: “Following the huge success of The Traitors, which has been streamed more than 28 million times on BBC iPlayer and was the talk of the nation over the festive period, we’re delighted to give BBC viewers the chance to watch the brand new US series within hours of its release in America.
"Hosted by the brilliant Alan Cumming and filmed at the same location as the UK series, it’s a new year treat for those seeking out more treachery – all is about to be revealed on BBC iPlayer, BBC Three and BBC One."
For US audiences, the first three episodes of The Traitors US season 2 were also released on Thursday 12th January on Peacock. New episodes of the series will continue to drop every Thursday across the pond, and we can assume that, following the season 2 finale in March, we'll get the boxset of all ten episodes of season 2 on iPlayer.

What is The Traitors about?
Based on the Dutch series De Verraders, the show sees contestants living in a castle in the Scottish Highlands with the hope of sharing a prize fund, which was up to £120,000 for the UK series.
However, there's a twist - amongst them are the "Traitors", a group of contestants selected by host on the first day.
Contestants will have to work hard to convince others that they're a "Faithful". Meanwhile, the Traitors will get to murder (eliminate) a Faithful each night.
Roundtables will take place each day, and all contestants will get to vote for who they think is a Traitor. The person with the most votes will be banished from the game and will reveal whether they are indeed a Faithful or Traitor.
If the Faithfuls managed to successfully eliminate all the Traitors at the roundtable, they will share the prize fund. However, if there are any Traitors are left in the game at the final round, they will take all the winnings.
